There’s something undeniably romantic about a wedding set against the lush backdrop of a golf course. The rolling greens, picturesque views, and serene atmosphere create an enchanting setting for love to blossom. As a wedding day photographer, I had the privilege of capturing Miles' beautiful wedding at Rivers Run Country Club, and I can’t wait to share some highlights from their special day!
Rivers Run Country Club was the perfect choice for the Miles'. The stunning landscape provided a picturesque backdrop, from the charming clubhouse to the vibrant flower gardens. The open skies and expansive greens added a touch of elegance to every shot. They went with burnt orange, dark red and many other autumn colors that just added to the over all landscape. The bright colors stood out against the manicured grass.
The day began with the couple getting ready separately, surrounded by their closest friends and family. The atmosphere was filled with excitement and love. Capturing the little moments—like Mia receiving a memorial gift from her future mother in-law. The tears were flowing but she would not have wanted her day to continue without them by their side. The Groom and his men were able to let loose and have their portraits taken outside which just helped them drive away the nerves of the day which set the tone for the day. These candid interactions are often some of my favorite shots.
The ceremony took place on the lawn, overlooking the beautiful course. The couple exchanged vows with the gentle breeze and the sound of chirping birds providing the perfect soundtrack. I made sure to capture the joy on their faces, the laughter of guests, and the intimate moments that made their vows so special.
After the ceremony, we took advantage of the stunning surroundings for some couple portraits. The golden hour light was magical, casting a warm glow over the greens. We explored various spots on the course, including the flower arch that the florist hand crafted, the golf course, and the bridge. The couple’s chemistry was undeniable, making every shot feel effortless. The bride had a martini in hand as we went through this which just showed that she was ready to let loose and start the party.
The reception was held in the clubhouse, beautifully decorated to reflect the couple's style. With twinkling lights, elegant centerpieces, and personal touches, the ambiance was perfect for celebration. I captured the heartfelt speeches, the first dance, and all the fun moments on the dance floor as everyone celebrated the newlyweds.
